Travis County Historical Commission Records
The Travis County Historical Commission was established in 1963, enabled by the Texas Legislature, which provided the framework for such Commissions in every county. The Commission’s goal is the preservation of the history of Travis County. The primary function of the Travis County Historical Commission is to identify, research and recognize historic sites and buildings in Travis County.
